Homecoming Hype

Homecoming is a chance to let students show their school spirit. Everyone has a week to prepare for games, and of course the homecoming dance. Students are excited to find out who this year’s winner will be. Aren’t we all?

“It’s definitely a fun experience, waiting all week to see if you’re going to win or not. It’s all fun, if I win, I win, if I don’t, congratulations to who does,” sophomore Jarret David Adams said.

High school can be the best years of your life, I mean being a teenager is something you only get once, why not make it the best? Winning homecoming can be a wonderful experience in a high school student’s life.

“For the older students, it’s a time for reflection, a time to be spirited, and a time to enjoy life,” freshman Alex Aldana-Monitto said.

This year’s candidates are pretty good and everyone is waiting in anticipation to find out who will be the winner.

“I really hope that Karina wins because she really deserves it. She’s so sweet and smart, and overall she’s a kind person,” an anonymous sophomore student said.

Underclassman winners will be announced Friday September 22nd at a pep rally held during school hours, and seniors will be announced at the homecoming game.
