She’s done it again folks! After only six months of releasing her album “Sweetener,” Ariana Grande announced her newest album “ Thank U, Next” two and a half weeks before its release. Longtime fans were shocked to hear that she was going to be releasing a new album so soon.

“I was so surprised when I heard about it,” junior Diana Flores said. “I didn’t know what to expect, but from the singles she released, I knew it was going to be good.”

“Thank U, Next” takes the listener on a heart touching journey throughout the album. Grande sings about the death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, her relationship with her ex-fiance Pete Davidson and how she was able to get past hardship.

“The album was different than anything she’s released,” junior Helen Velasquez said. “She really caught us off guard.”

Not only has her album been a hit for her fans, but it has also remained at No. 1 for two weeks after it’s release.

There hasn’t been an album to keep a two-week streak going since 60s rock band “The Beatles.” It’s safe to say that Grande is a legend.

“I’m proud of her music,” Flores said. “She’s come a long way and to see her grow as an artist inspires me.”

Ultimately, the entire album went hard.
