41st President George H.W. Bush Dies at the Age of 94

On November 30, former President George Herbert Walker Bush died in his home in Houston, Texas. This was just seven months after his wife, Barbara Bush, died.

He was found by his son George W. Bush – who was also a former president of the United States.

His son described him as a man that truly cared for his family.

“George H.W. Bush was a man of the highest character and the best dad a son or daughter could ask for,” Bush said while announcing his father death.

Many people characterized him as a man that loved his country.

“He never stopped serving,” Bill Clinton said in a tweet. “His remarkable leadership and great heart was always on full display.”

George H.W. Bush was laid to rest two weeks ago on Thursday at his presidential library in College Station, Texas. It was the day after his funeral that was held in St. Martin’s Episcopal Church.

“While our hearts are heavy today, they are also filled with gratitude” former President Barack Obama said in a tweet. “Our thoughts are with the entire Bush family tonight – and all who were inspired by George and Barbara’s example.”
