For the fifth straight year, Student Council members baked cookies for local firefighters. The cookies are a gesture to express gratitude towards the firefighters.

“We love serving our community and our firefighters because they do so much for us,” Student Council president Emily Kizziar said.

Although the main goal is to show their appreciation, Kizziar said that this is also a way for the Student Council members to bond and connect with each other.

“I love making the cookies and making connections with all of our members,” she said.
