20-year-old Kylie Jenner gave birth to her first child on Thursday, February 1, 2018.

The internet star hid her pregnancy from the public to ensure that she stayed as healthy and stress free as possible during the pregnancy.

“I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys,” Jenner said to her followers in an Instagram post. “My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world.”

After days of suspense, Kylie finally announced the name of her baby girl, Stormi Webster, in an Instagram post on February 6, 2018. Stormi is named after her father, Travis Scott, who’s real name is Jacques Webster.

“I was surprised Kylie named her baby that,” junior Jennifer Mondragon said. “It’s a pretty name; I just thought it’d be something more extravagant.”

Jenner returned to social media with an 11 minute video on February 4, 2018 titled: “To Our Daughter”. The video showed a new side to Kylie that has proven her determination to be a great mother.

“Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life changing experience I’ve had in my entire life and I’m actually going to miss it,” Jenner said in a post on social media.
