The 2016 Homecoming pep rally took place in the main gym on Friday, September 23. The rally was full of surprises unveiling the nominees for HoCo king and queen along with the hallway decoration winners.

“I was extra pumped, it was so fun,” junior Jessi Evans said. “My favorite part was probably the cheerleaders’ 80’s themed dance with all the stunts because it was really cute.”

Although the pep rally was designed to pump up the crowd for the night’s game, it let down some students expectations.

“ I thought the pep rally was going to be more interactive,” Evans said. “The minutemen were supposed to be in it and got taken out last minute.”

During the rally, it was announced that the juniors were the winners of the highly anticipated “Alice in Wonderland” themed hallway decorations.

“Good job juniors,” senior Joe Czaus said.
