Varsity Basketball defeats Sachse
The boy’s varsity basketball team faced off against Sachse High School in a district game. The Patriots won with a score of 92-56 and dominated the Mustangs the whole game.
In the first quarter the Patriots started off hot with a 23-2 start.
“This game was a game we felt in control of the whole time,” senior Zaire Smith said. “It all comes from hard work in practice.”
The Patriots are now ranked number four in the state of Texas and are 7-0 in district play, leading the standings as number one in district.
“I didn’t play well this game but I played for my team and we played amazing together,” Smith said. “We shut the other team to only 12 points in a half which is quite amazing”
This week, the boys face off against Naaman Forest and South Garland.
