Lakeview VS. Rowlett Basketball Varsity Game
Last week Lakeview Patriots won a district game against Rowlett High School.
The game was a show as expected. Both sides of the gym packed, atmosphere was amazing.
“It was exciting experience as we’ve lost to them in the past years so it felt good,” senior Zhaire Smith said.
You could see that the Patriots were trying their absolute best on defense and offense, but one player had the best night: Christopher Eyo, #13.
“I got buckets and defensive stops for my team and made sure we got the dub,” senior Christopher Eyo said.
The momentum changes were crazy. The Patriots were up by ten most of the game but in the third quarter the Rowlett Eagles had a run which tied up the game.
Patriots went on to win by seven points.
“The game was a very up-tempo game the whole 48 mins,” senior Brendan Brooke said.
Next game is on Tuesday, January 17 against South Garland. Surely to be the game of the century!
