Rapper Kendrick Lamar was featured on the smash hit “Like That” on March 26, 2024” off MetroBoomin and Futures new album. In the song, Lamar disses Drake and JCole, as he took exception to being included in “The Big 3” of the rap industry.
JCole then responded to him with his song called “7 Minute Drill,” flaming his catalog of songs and rapping ability. This was a poor take from JCole, as he later stepped out of the beef.
Drake, however, has been firing on all cylinders. Drake released “Push Ups” April 19, 2024, in response to Lamar. Lamar has followed this up by releasing songs like “Euphoria,” ”Meet The Grahmes,” and “Not Like Us.” “Not Like Us” is currently sitting at the #1 spot on Billboard Top 100. Drake has responded with “The Heart Part 6, ” but everything has gone quiet since. Most people have sided with Lamar in the beef because of claims he has made about Drake’s character and actions in the past.
The winner in this “beef” is Kendrick Lamar. He attacked Drake on things ranging from being a “terrible father”, “Pedophile”, and countless other things while giving proof to back it up. This exchange of songs between the two, however, was great for the rap industry and sparked new life into fans to debate about and enjoy.
