What’s Your Sign?
I bet the last time you checked your horoscope you agreed with what you read, right? Horoscopes are based upon the time you were born, your birth date, and the location of where you were born. But the question is: How exactly are astrologists able to provide an accurate horoscope for us though?
“Ancient scientists observed and recorded the patterns they saw in the sky (astronomy); then, they extrapolated those observations to fit their cosmology and life experiences (astrology),” writer Ed Grabianowski said on How Stuff Works.
With that being said, the information you provide (your time, location, and date of your birth) is used for astrologists to see how the stars were aligned when you were born, but you probably already knew that.
Horoscopes are actually really cool, who doesn’t like the stars telling you your destiny?
