New iPad Turn-in Announcement Method
On May 14, everyone’s iPad background changed – informing them what they need to bring back to school and when.
“Everyone’s ipad background was supposed to change,” campus Apple tech Steven Turner said.
This is similar to how it was done last year. The iPad’s backgrounds were changed telling you when and where to turn it in. This year the background had more information on what was needed from students.
“We used signs, but no one noticed,” Turner said. “I think the changed wallpaper was a great way of informing.”
The prices of the iPad and its accessories are also listed on the background – this is something that was not there last year.
“The pricing is fair; it is usually more,” junior A’leeah Gordon said.
The way that the iPad collecting is happening this year is much different from last year. The information is more easily accessible and organized.
“We tried to give students a week before collection to cause a buzz, and so that students could notice,” Turner said.
