AP Testing

After a whole school year of challenging college level work and staying up all hours of the night studying, AP students put all of their hard work to the test.

Throughout the past several weeks students having been taking their long awaited AP tests. Whether its Macroeconomics or World History, AP testing students have approximately 4 hours to do their best and earn their college credit.

Taking a college level course in high school can be challenging for some students, especially if a student is taking more than one course. Some students had to take up to 4 AP tests during the week, which would be overwhelming for anyone.

“I took 3 AP tests last week back to back,” junior Delaney Foster said. “It’s a lot for one person to do, but hopefully I passed and got the college credit.”

AP Students have been preparing for the AP testing all year through various NMSI study sessions, tutorials, and doing practice tests and questions during class.

“I took the AP English Language and Composition test on Wednesday,” junior Tayzia Hopkins said. “I was nervous at first because I thought it would be really hard, but I remember all the strategies Mrs. Light taught us and it really got me through it.”
