On October 25, 2011, Battlefield Bad Company 3 was honorably discharged into stores everywhere.
Due to all the realistic game play and fantastic graphics this game has to offer, BF3 is, hands down, the most innovative gaming sensation, must have of the season.
“The graphics are amazing,”Logan Daves exclaimed.
Multiplayer Beta was released in late September, to those who had obtained Metal of Honor: Tier 1 Edition, or pre-ordered the digital version of BF3: Limited Edition. The Beta gave gamers a remarkable perspective of how the game will play and BF3′s extremely, fantastic, modified 3D battle graphics.
LC student, Jason Pruett, makes a valid rationalization by stating ”the graphics don’t really matter if the game is not fun.” Hopefully the awesome special effects will cover up the inconsistencies of the game.
Adding to Battlefield’s diverse set of vehicles, the new BF3 is modifying the game with their new vehicle transportation options. One of the most intriguing being the self piloted fighter jets such as: the F/A 18 Super Hornet, the A10 Thunderbolt, the Sukhoi Su-35, and the Sukhoi su-39.
“I’m going to fly into people, just to make them mad,” Logan Daves explained.
BF’s classic vehicle classes are still available such as: the jeep, tank, helicopter, and the best vehicle ever, the quad; a little gamer to gamer humor.
“I don’t care, as long as it kills stuff,” Jacob Pruett expresses. Don’t worry gamers, he’s the exception.
The game is also updating the infantry classes, making the assault class have standard issue assault rifles and it also allows medic packs to be cast down and heal nearby allies. Support class replaced the medic class and, like all changes, it has its benefits.The support class has a light- weight machine gun, an ammo kit that can be thrown down to resupply nearby teammates, a tri pod that can make your gun more accurate. While the Engineer class is the exact way we left it, it still features sub-machine guns, rocket launchers, and the vehicle repair tool. Also relatively the same is the Re-con class, except, Re-con can now release a team deplorer that teammates respond to.
“The sense of the bullet impact…is so palpable, it makes you want to duck,” a reviewer from Eurogamer reflected.
