Gears of War 3, was released on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, and  is thought to be one of the best games of the year.

Gamers who enjoy thrill and action packed games will discover that this game fits their needs perfectly.

“Yeah, I’d buy it. The game looks really promising,” Christian Mills stated.

The company will issue new accomodations to the older generations of the Gear of War series. The features, weapons, and maps will be updated, while certain fan features of GW will be new all together.

“Yep, I want to play the game to see how the campaign is, and try out the new beast mode and horde 2.0,” Alex Bielski stated.

Epic Games, the Gears of War producer, leaked online that one of the four main characters will die in the game. According to a majority of gamers, Dom, who had to kill his own wife in Gears of War 2, is suspected to be the unlucky canidate. As the series persists, Dom had lost the sense of who he was, which, in turn, made it obvious to GW fans everywhere that his character was not absolute.

“I think Dom is going to die,” Mills commented.

There are many different ways to play war games like this, and, no, I do not mean cheat codes. Gears of War 3 features campaign, solo, and online  mode.

“I’m definitely going to play campaign first,” Bielski says.

The majority of gamers predict that this could be the last Gears of War game in the series. The game has drawn enough good reviewsand press that new game players are jumping in for a piece of the action.

“I think Epic is going for a perfect trilogy, if the gaming company decides to release another game,” Mills says.

Some new weapons that came out in GW 3 were played in beta; such as  the digger, incendiary grenades, retro lancer, and one shot. However for the experienced player, the old guns are still fan favorites. Brandon VanCleave’s favorite gun is the ”hammer of down, because the satellite laser”.

Anyone with an obsession for deadly weapons, tantalizing storylines, or epic battles, than the new GW is definitely the game for you.
